Lotus, .Paak & Watanabe: More

You know him from far out anime like Kids on the Slope, Cowboy Bebop, Space Dandy, and Samurai Champloo, the last of which boasts a favorite soundtrack for hip hop heads that heavily features Fat Jon, Force of Nature and Nujabes. This time director Sinichirō Watanabe teamed up with Flying Lotus on his new song, More (featuring Anderson .Paak), bringing to life a visually stunning ego-death-space-trip.

Flying Lotus scored the Sinichirō Watanabe short film Blade Runner: Black Out 2022.

Lotus and Watanabe have joined forces before, working together to develop the soundscape for the short Blade Runner: Black Out 2022. The two are reportedly collaborating again for Watanabe’s latest show, Carole & Tuesday. Let’s hope this killer combo keeps bringing us brilliant partner projects. I wouldn’t mind .Paak’s soul saving crooning on more FlyLo songs either. Check out the new video below.
